CBS is pleased to announce the Pastors' Council. This fellowship of Senior Pastors exists to bring God's biblically-based leaders together in order to build His body in Greater Houston.
Our Vision The Pastor’s Council consists of past and present College of Biblical Studies students who are Senior Pastors of a Christian Church, who have realized that there is cumulative power in likeminded Servant-Leaders, and who believe that “together” we can achieve greater feats for the Kingdom of God. The Council shall work with and have access to the President of CBS, the President’s Cabinet, the CBS Board of Directors, and the Executive Staff at CBS. Additionally, the Council shall enjoy the benefits derived from networking with other Senior Pastors in ministry.
Our Mission The mission of the Pastors' Council is to support CBS and Council Members in providing general education, ministry skills training, biblical education, and theological instruction to the Body of Christ.
For who is our hope or joy or crown of exultation? Is it not even you, in the presence of our Lord Jesus at His coming? For you are our glory and joy. – 1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 –
Join the team and impact our city for Christ, as together we will:
Assist CBS by providing ideas that improve the quality of training, education, and instruction offered by CBS; Assist CBS with testimonials that may be shared at meetings, luncheons, dinners, or in CBS communications/publications; Assist CBS in distributing information to your church during the school year; Assist CBS through financial donations at whatever level is determined by the individual Council Member and/or his church; Meet at least twice a year as a Council.
